Morbidelli Debuts at Malaysia Auto-Show 2024

Kuala Lumpur, May 21, 2024 – The Malaysia Auto-Show, the largest two-wheel event in Malaysia, took place at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS). This event, organized by the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), showcased the latest vehicles in both the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric Vehicles (EV) segments, spanning an impressive 40,000 square meters of exhibition space and attracting thousands of visitors.

For the first time, the legendary Morbidelli brand was introduced to the Malaysian market, following its recent acquisition by Bologna-based company MBP. Dante Bustos, CMO of the Keeway Group, delivered a compelling presentation, highlighting the storied history of Giancarlo Morbidelli, his remarkable achievements in motorcycle racing, and the iconic figures who shaped the sport in the 1970s. 

Morbidelli’s presence at the show was marked by the official launch of two new models: the C1002V, priced at RM 56,888.00, and the M502N, priced at RM 27,888.00. These models underscore Morbidelli's commitment to combining heritage with innovation, offering cutting-edge technology alongside classic design elements.

 

Additionally, Keeway Group showcased several other exciting models:

- Keeway Sixties 250: Priced at RM 13,888.00, this model highlights a blend of retro style and modern performance, appealing to those who appreciate both aesthetics and functionality.
- Benda DarkFlag: Priced at RM 39,888.00, this model captures attention with its unique design and robust performance.
- Benda Napoleon Bob: Priced at RM 27,888.00, known for its advanced features and stylish look.

 

The Malaysian motorcycle market is robust and dynamic, with a strong demand for scooters and cruiser motorcycles. Scooters, in particular, are a popular choice due to their practicality and efficiency in navigating urban environments. The cruiser segment is also seeing significant interest, driven by consumers' desire for stylish and powerful bikes that offer a blend of comfort and performance.
